Though I rarely spend Thanksgiving back home in Texas, today always makes me miss that down home feeling of the south and family and bad for me foods and all that southern charm that makes me grateful for where I grew up. And as I was listening to Spotify's "Give Thanks" playlist (I highly recommend) today's song grabbed me with that folky delight that is the Avett Brothers, full and thankfulness of a crazy journey of up and downs and missing home.
