So if you know me at all you know my strong fear of conflict and debating. That said, I decided to start picking a fight via text with my friend Mo after discovering he thinks Katy Perry is somehow better than Adele. Now the logical person in me knows it's all subjective and it doesn't matter what he thinks...however when I am passionate enough about something, such as Adele, I put up a pretty fierce perhaps unneeded fight. To me it only takes hearing Adele sing one song to have every emotional cell in your body twitch with feeling. And I get this by just watching youtube videos or like listening to my ipod, which is why she is currently #1 on my list to see live (*cough best gift if anyone is looking to give me something *cough). Once I heard today's song I desired her super power voice, even for just one evening because I know singing this song would be like love potion #9 to anyone in my path. It is a love song but almost like a love song you use in a debate to convince them to love you, and honestly, if this can't convince you to love Adele then I will just assume you are deaf. And even if you are not convinced to love her music as much as me, I will be okay with that cuz I'm also pretty selfish when it comes to my musical loves and want them to be my one and only...music apparently brings out my best qualities. But if you can relate to this kind of love, or this kind of desire to be loved (or have others understand it) this one's for you.
