So I've spent the last hour and a half re-remembering why Pearl Jam is oh so amazing, and why Eddie Vedder is just plain cool on every level. I won't declare my love too loudly for fear my friend Nicole / Eddie Vedder's #1 love slave, I mean fan might beat me up. But I totally forgot about this sweet simple ballad of theirs. It's not your average ewwy gooey love song, but there is this worldly wisdom behind it that Vedder brings pretty much every time he moves or breathes. He described today's song as the happiest times of people's lives when they should just take in the moment and "breathe for a minute." I think its one of the things we forget to do the most. To appreciate, to enjoy, to be thankful for these little moments of perfection that run away from us so quickly. So today my wish for you and myself is many occasions that cause you to stop and breathe.
