There's been three things I've been trying to get my hands on which all accumulated together today: knowledge of my antipsychotic drugs in pharm class, the new Mates of State album, and the haunting documentary "The Devil and Daniel Johnston" about what some call a musical genius struggling with manic depression. Mates of State covers one of his most innocent / heart breaking songs in a such a joyous way only this gosh darn adorable duo could do. And maybe i guess it reminded me that i hope on my best days as a nurse or just a human being i could bring out the same kind of joy from brokenness.
