Try waking up with the sun Forget the past it is done Think of the man that you used to be He is less than the one you’ve become

Artist- The Parson Red Heads
Song of the day- Time is running out

So the weekends are less enjoyable for me this summer and more a sign of impending doom of only having a few days left to study for tests. But instead of freaking out about running out of time, I'm choosing to focus on the positivity the Parson Red Heads always bring to their music. To not look back at your past of the things you haven't learned yet or tests failed (this is totally an analogy and so not the literal interpertation of my grade point average, eh) but to live every moment out focusing on all the good you have and all the good you can do in the short time we have. It reminds me of this John Wesley quote I found last week:
"Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as you ever can."

live out the goodness my friends. happy sunday

These dear Parsons will be in chicago at Schubas next Saturday and if you're near by you should really witness their sweet sweet goodness first hand. I'm getting giddy just thinking about it!

Give all the things that you have
Finish the things you began
All of the time that we spend giving up
Could be spent on the things that we have
Try waking up with the sun
Forget the past it is done
Think of the man that you used to be
He is less than the one you’ve become
Time is running time is running out
Time is running time is running out
Give all the things that you have
Finish the love you began
All of the time that we spend giving up
Could be spent on the things that we have
Try waking up with the sun
Forget the past it is done
Think of the man that you used to be
He is less than the one you’ve become
Time is running time is running out
Time is running time is running out
