As I chopped a bunch of various Wisconsin delicacies aka cheese, meats, and relish trays tonight I believed I found my new calling in life and was pretty sure I would be fine getting paid to peel carrots for a living as long as the 90s music station was playing on my TV. We sang along to songs I even forgot existed and was reminded of a few treasures such as this song. The adolescent in me was pretty positive being an adult looked exactly like this video and I'd know I was a grown up when I leaned against the wall and snap danced, had my toenails painted by various men, was friends with artsy hipsters with dreadlocks and apparently Jennifer Lopez the dancer not the singer. And as I cut vegetables with a photographer, editor, and documentary film maker I thought perhaps maybe I'm close to being an adult. I just have to find a guy with dreadlocks and work on my snap dancing at coffee shops because frankly I don't want Jennifer Lopez as my best friend.
