If I was young, I'd flee this town I'd bury my dreams underground

Lollapalooza Edition
Artist- Beirut
Song of the day- Elephant Gun

Beirut is like the music of how I wish my life was; very bohemian, very young and romantic and well traveled and dreamy. It is like an old soul kind of music that I think is lost in the musical scene right now so I'm pretty excited that it's planted right on the night showing of Lolla's lineup. When the majority of chicago will be at Eminem, I shall be sitting back, most probably with a bottle of cheap wine, enjoying a little old soul type of music. If you care to join me, this one's for you.

If I was young, I'd flee this town
I'd bury my dreams underground
As did I, we drink to die, we drink tonight

Far from home, elephant gun
Let's take them down one by one
We'll lay it down, it's not been found, it's not around

Let the seasons begin - it rolls right on
Let the seasons begin - take the big game down

Let the seasons begin - it rolls right on
Let the seasons begin - take the big game down

And it rips through the silence of our camp at night
And it rips through the night

And it rips through the silence of our camp at night
And it rips through the silence, all that is left is all that I hide
