Song of the day- I wanna be your lover
Ok I have to post a Prince song cuz he has been haunting me for days, dare I say months. Everywhere I go, the gym, Lincoln hall, LA, this song plays. And not just like once, but like on constant rotation till I think there are other worldly forces at work that demand I love this song, which is pretty easy cuz it is a great song and I challenge anyone who thinks they can shake there groove thang better than Prince can! I don't know why it works but it does. And I kind of appreciate the demandingness of this song, how you expect to be everything to someone and not in a controlling way but somehow more charming in falsetto and a ridiculously low cut top, hoop earrings and hip shaking. Apparently if you put any of these absurd things together I might agree to anything. But if the music gods demand I like this song, I shall demand you like it too, or at least shake your groove thang to it.
