Today begins my ever long attempt to prepare myself, and apparently also you, for Lollapalooza this year. Taking some favs, band names I've heard in passing, band names that just make me curious, and bands I might have to miss due to my love of other bands, need of food installments, bathroom breaks, or accidental naps, I shall hit some highlights of what bands I hope will cross my path this year. The first band on my schedule is the Vaccines, who I'm only going to because my friend Blake told me they are awesome and thus I believe him. But after hearing this ditty I can see why I should. It's not only a catchy boy rock band good time, but it also seems to embrace my summer mood. Poppy and joyous and hating to be alone. It seems the moment I leave someone I find the need to schedule another meeting or someone else to pass the time with. Apparently adjusting from hours of school, studying and hospitals to nothingness was a harder transition than anticipated, but still a bit peppy cuz yay summer I can do things and the weather might be actually starting to agree with me. So here's to the good times and finding people to share it with!
