Please disregard my endless hope It just paved the way for the end of our road

Artist- Sondre Lerche
Song of the day- Legends

So the other night I was watching a movie and this quote stuck with me. "What is greater than a hero?...a Legend"...and sure the movie was Robo Cop and was more evilly implying why they should murder a man faced robot, but the idea of what a legend might mean stuck with me. My hero complex had to know. Cuz there's a reason there's the phrase every day heroes and only certain things are legendary...unless you are Barney Stinson. There's something more about a legend when heroes can be unsung. So today's song seemed to capture my current revelation in longing for the stuff of legends and only left to to dance out ones frustration. And there's no better adorable Swede to dance with than Mr. Lerche.

Please disregard my naked face
I just realized it takes two to lay
Can we dish it out in daylight
Can we stare ourselves down
Can we manouver honesty when it comes swinging back around
Oh o-oh
Now we'll never know what legends we could be
Just me and you and you and me
Oh o-oh, now we'll never know what legends we were ment to be
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Please disregard my endless hope
It just paved the way for the end of our road
I sometimes called you, bluff in secret,
You sometimes hassled with my nerves
Can you imagine anybody else so close to you, it hurts
Oh oh-o-oh
Now we'll never know what legends we could be just me and you and you and me,
Oh oh-o-oh
Now we'll never know what legends we were ment to be
Ooh oh oh
Please disregard
As I have done
Our sivilized boats
Is not fooling them
Oh o-oh oh
Now we'll never know what legends we could be, just me and you and you and me
Oh o-oh oh
Now we'll never know what legends we could be, just dumb as you and dumb as me
Oh oh o-oh
Now we'll never know what legends we could be, oh oh-o oh oh
Oh oh o-oh
Now we'll never know what legends we were ment to be
Oh oh o-oh
The legends we set out to be
Oh oh oh oh o-oh
